The TCIF First Responder Network is designed to provide the quickest emergency medical first response to victims of trauma within minutes of injury in every locality across Nigeria and in other TCIF member nations, before the arrival of the emergency medical services.
The network functions through an expanding pool of trained volunteer first responders and medics, emergency medical vehicles and equipment, the TCIF Command and Control Centre and the uniquely designed TCIF Emergency Response App (TCERA) and other affiliate products and platforms through which our first responders can be activated in the event of emergencies.
The Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF) is an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council ( UNECOSOC) focused on improving trauma care and emergency response services in her member nations through safety and health education training sessions, advocacy campaigns and community based programs including voluntary blood donation drives.
The TCERA app connects victims of emergencies with TCIF First Responders for prompt assistance. Designed and owned by the Trauma Care International Foundation; the TCERA User and Responder applications and other subsidiary applications and programs connect casualties with TCIF First Responders in the event of emergencies. The TCERA app and other TCIF affiliate applications provide users with real-time response from specially trained First Responders.
